[ Yin explains as she fills up the bowl and adds on lots of salt or butter, depending on what's handy. she puts it down first before grabbing the remote and then staring at the TV almost dumbfounded. ]

[She really doesn't want Yin to leave her alone right now, so she'll just keep quiet, watching the show with a small smile on her face. About halfway through the episode, she decides to get comfortable, pulling a blanket over her and resting her head gently on Yin's left shoulder.]
[ that would impair Yin's ability to munch on popcorn... if she cared enough to stop moving her left arm just because Vera's getting cozy. too cozy. ] You need a pillow or something?
[ honestly, Vera falling asleep is the best thing that can happen right now. ]
Uh huh. [Her words are soft and quiet. While she's not quite ready to close her eyes, the animal part of her brain is telling her that getting as comfortable as possible is a great idea.]
[ the heiress sounds so ... peaceful. or halfway there. this is probably the quietest she'll ever be by Yin's own doing, so she doesn't dare move the disturb her.
instead she sinks further back into the cushions and turns the volume on the show down a few notches. ] Alright. Just relax...
[ sorry, Vera. couldn't hear you over the sound of stuffing another handful of popcorn into her face. that metal hand better not get gummed up by this. ] Hwuh?

[ Yin sets the bowl down on the floor first. then she reaches her left arm down around Vera's back while the other moves across the pull the covers in tighter. ]
[She squirms, shifting her weight until her head is under Yin's chin, against her collarbone. It's not really the same. The smell is different, the feeling is different, but that warmth is there. That might be what she's missed the most over these last couple of weeks. Arms wrap tight around the taller girl's torso, and the heiress finally starts to close her eyes.]
Hey, I'm not — [ the objection is kind of moot. being supportive is one thing, but Yin is no one's pillow! not unless they're family (or basically family) anyway...
she sighs and just shifts a bit to make herself more comfortable. later she'll grumble and wonder how the hell she got roped into this in the first place. right now? the show's not over yet and things could be less comfortable in the long run. ] Don't expect me to carry your skinny ass to bed.
[Sorry Yin, but the cozy heiress has already started to drift off, nestled against the crook of your neck. Her breathing slows, and her grip loosens as sleep finally begins to take her.]
[ that's just swell. guess they'll both just have to wake up in the morning on the couch with cricks in their necks at this rate. but not if Yin can manage to sneak out in the morning first. ]
[She'll have a rather difficult time getting out from under the girl. Thankfully she's tiny enough to move, but she's not so heavy a sleeper as to not notice her pillow is gone.]
